Chief cooked up some red beans and rice and had so much that he sent some ingredients north. (You know where we think that salt and pepper are spices)

We had so many beans that they over filled the jar. All anyone has to do is guess how many beans are in the jar. Hint: Things are not always as they seem.

Rules: One guess per member. The one closest to the correct number of beans will be the winner and get her/his choice of wood. (Palm or Amboyna )The other block of wood will be given to the member who comes in fourteenth . The winners will be announced All Hallow's Eve.
We hope that that you all participate and have fun. Post your guess, and if you have any questions please PM me.

This is a Chief Red Bean production. This game cannot be reproduced without the expressed permission of The Red Bean Counters of America. (Void where prohibited by law)

Kevin,
Great contest!
Deep East Texas is just on the edge of Red Beans and Rice country.
One question please. Is this contest on the up and up or is there something else in the jar besides red beans?

I'll say zero, because maybe they are all kidney beans.
