New 5-6 made great fire prep today. Two strikes of the firesteel and she was on flame

Here's my latest. It features a remarkable handle. It is an 8 incher, stainless, nickel silver, aluminum & black spacers, and some killer bark elephant ivory!...Right?
Not really. At first, sometime even second, glance this outstanding piece looks like a way-cool piece of elephant ivory. Take a look for your self.
Best, Capt. Chris

This makes it easier for the "un-trained" eye. What a spectacular piece!
Enjoy, Capt. Chris

I know ivory has a tendency to crack, but that's ridiculous. grin

Beautiful knife and handle, Captain.

That handle is a piece of art unto itself! Attached to the blade makes it a real beauty! I'm green with jealousy, I love ivory handled Randall's!
