Pete Stebbins promised buyers of the BCS that there would be no more than 50 made.

Is this model still available and if so, how would one go about ordering one? I looked at the thread and the knife looks like a real winner.

The auction link in the above linked thread shows #45 auctioned in Jan.06, and the auction states they are no longer made. And I would guess #50 had already been produced at that time.

You could get close w/ a single hilt Combat Companion w/ sawteeth and finger grooves, but to include all the options of the BCS would probably exceed the current option limit.

Here's BCS #42 in the middle, with a 5-5 at the bottom that has the blade the first BCS's had, I suppose.

I believe I saw 1 on Southern Blades website the other evening. I tried to find it again before I posted this, but couldn't find the site tonight. Worth a shot to find it. Its a neat knife. Good Luck...

Dale, I went to the site too. Just a little too rich for me. Beautiful knife thought. I might try to order a CC and get as many options that I can get to resemble one. Does anybody know what was the standard configure ration? The one on the Southern Blades sites says it's got an ivory handle.
