New Arrival, Thanks to Rob at LHGK, 10-3 in Brown Micarta and it looks like a possible roughback sheath. What a little pre-owned cutie....any idea how old it might be? Arrived as described with a few "character marks" showing it was actually used some. The model 10's are growing on me. PS: I-Phone 4s takes really good shots!

Not a roughback #10-3", but they usually have an unfinished side, occuring from the leather being folded. This leaves the unfinished side exposed. The "pouch" sheaths were started, pretty much, after the Johnson era, as were the "drop points". There is, more than likely, some crossover timing, but your knife (Fl. Blade stamp) and a tan pouch is screaming early 90's to me. Hope this helps. Best, capt. Chris
Capt'N..Thanks for the info..appreciated Greatly as usual. As I mentioned..I think these older Randalls' have a lot of personality. I've got a new 10-3 inbound, I'll see how it compares..don't even know if it'll be a drop-point or look like its' bigger brothers.
