I was able to get these out of my backup files and decided to re-post them, since we can't edit our original posts: I just came back to check out this great thread and look at all the fantastic knives! I got my #12-9 Bowie with the #14 grind back a couple of years ago. I don't carry it a lot, but it does accompany me when I am out checking fences at the ranch. I don't have a picture anymore of it after David Perdue engraved it. The scrim was done by Rick Bowles. I was hoping to get one without having to wait. I found one on the site of Clinton knives and bought it from him. I spoke on the phone about a knife I wanted in the future: the model 12-9 #14 grind. He said he had one and maybe even two of them for sale right now. One of them was stainless which I wanted and Gary said it had great stag (I am very picky about wood and stag) The knife was a order from a costumer but the the buyer cancelled it yesterday. Gary mailed me a picture of the stainless 12-9 #14 grind and it was exactly my taste in stag (dark and thick) Now I am Brooke but Happy!
