Returning this year is Santa's Dirty Dozen Christmas Knife project. For those of you who were with us last year, I'm sure you remember. For our new members, here's a link to last year's project: Christmas knife 2007

This year's Christmas knife will be presented to a highly decorated United States Marine Corps Sgt. Major. Our knife this year is a Buxton Fighter which is currently being embedded by our good friend Silverknife. If schedules can be worked out, our own Tomthbomb (Tom Welch) will be presenting this knife to our recipient in Wayne Buxton's shop in Texas.

Much thanks to Wayne for helping us procure this knife. We owe you a debt of gratitude. If any of you would like to contribute to this knife and become part of Santa's Dirty Dozen, please email me at kottage46@gmail.com
I will go over the details with you. Obviously, the more people who participate, the lower the cost for each individual.

I want to thank everyone from last year who participated in this project. And I want to thank everyone in advance for participation in this year's program. I will keep everyone posted as to the step-by-step progress and we will have pictures and comments from Tomthbomb and the recipient. His name will be revealed after the presentation.

Thank you for taking time out and please remember, as with all men and women who are overseas, this man is a true American hero, and they are allowing us to live our daily lives in freedom and safety.

God bless them all.

Thank you,
Kevin

I missed the Christmas Knife deal last year as I was too late to be a part of it. I told Kevin that I wanted to be a part of it this year. What a great way to honor a person in the military, (man or woman).

Deal is this year it will be a lot harder for some to contribute to this worthy cause. In my case, because I had planned for this deal, I know I am covered on my contribution to the project. Kevin told me we had more people contribute last year vs this year. Again, I look at this deal as an opportunity to say thanks to the military people who have watched over my safety and in many cases shed blood for that safety.

Thanks again for allowing me to be a part of it. There is still room for others.
