Mic,
Is that a "long eye relief" scope on your 45-70?
Nice rig,
Capt. Chris

Yep, it sure is Capt…..!

It’s a 2x7 Vortex LER scope, mounted on an XS “Lever rail” with a set of Ghost ring back up iron sights. It makes a great brush gun.

I like that 45-70.

I bet it makes a heck of a hog gun!

WAKE UP!!!
thought it's about time to be a 300 PRC man today
I got this last year....a while ago, I believe....meanwhile no brass....no ammo....nothing....so, I sat on it for a while....scored some Lapua brass FINALLY!! got all my dies FINALLY....still cannot afford the scope I want, so I stole a scope off another gun I wasn't using....anyway....I had the darn thing for 1.5 years, and have only been to the range one time(after break in).....one of these days I'd like to see about hitting the mark at a mile....this gun will do it, if I can....anyway....I'm a 300PRC person today!!

:-)Rocky

Rocky,
Back in 2012 we had a terrible incident that started the ball rolling. The state law makers spent a month (or longer) thinking up new laws to prevent such an incident occurring again.

True to form, not one law that was passed would ever prevent such a thing to happen again.

And,again, true to form, they increased the work load of the firearms section of the state 100% and reduced their staff by 50%.

Now they have an 8+ year back log of firearms transactions
Scariest sentence ever to be said We're from the government we are here to help
