Nice Bob, that would make a great Tactical Combat/Skinner knife for quartering Taliban.

Thought you guys might appreciate this… Model 28s showed up today… UPS was thoughtful enough to call my wife last night to say “A package from RANDALL MADE KNIVES will arrive tomorrow and it must be signed for”. <sigh…>

Yep, that’s the Denmark Special I picked up on Craig’s List. Quite the nice little opener.

Guys,

I'm pumped on this one! I've been charting this on a map. Watching how the deliveries are happening. 24th Bob in Fla, 25th Spartanburg SC and Georgia deliveries, 26th North Cacalacky - take it to be North Carolina, 26th Glen Head NY - take it as Long Island. I'm waiting for Ogdensburg NY!

No luck today, because of a vicious snowstorm. Was dozing off and dreaming....pictured a UPS truck going off the road in the Adirondacks, ice! Driver trapped inside. He smells smoke. After initial panic he regains his senses and searches for an escape route, to no avail. Ah! There must be something in these packages. Luckily he finds a Randall Made Knife...the "Woodsman"!! The driver quickly realizes this is his way out. He handily rips open the metal carcass of the truck with the well crafted knife and escapes to freedom and his loving family. Weeks later the truck driver visits the intended recipient of the knife to deliver it...but he has a question. With all that happened, would the owner consider selling it to him??? Response...Ah?????, NO! Just kiddin, but I would tell him he has to wait 5 years. It builds character..he he.

Sorry guys ran off at the mouth with the typing. Just really excited and THANKFUL for this opportunity. How else can someone have this much fun spending 400$

Guido,
All of this initial offering were the green micarta and brass single hilt to the best of my knowledge. My Doctor (and Gary's) received a special black micarta one and has already skinned deer and hogs with it! My user is going to be a black one with nickel silver hilt, black sheath (or one of Greg's pouch sheaths) and my name etched on it! I have to wait a bit for that one as a whole bunch of folks are ahead of me...but huntin' season's a ways off.
I just got back from Bama (last night...late). Picked up all 3 whitetails from the processor. Can't wait for next year. My "Woodsman" will see some use!
Best, Capt. Chris

I like the looks of the pouch, I bet it's a bit more user friendly. I got my #28 Thursday evening, it looks like a genuine workhorse. You could probably hammer a half dozen of them into a tree for steps up to your deerstand! (I'll try to be a bit more reasonable with mine)

The false edge going into the drop point establishes a blade profile that you can't really appreciate until you have one in your hand. The blade appears much stronger in person than in photos I'd seen. I may go for a walk in the woods today, looking for deer sheds, with a new 28 on my hip!

I'll just have to get in the line to get mine. I want one just like Cap described, except, of course, I don't want his name on it!!!

Here's a quick shot of my Woodsman that I just took out in the back yard.

Nice photo Tony, I was trying to hold out for black micarta but seeing yours is making it more difficult...

Thanks Rob.
I like the green micarta a lot! It's distinctive looking and goes well with the brass hilt.
