tglassco, you wrote:

Given the controversy over "fake" Randall sheaths, I simply decided that it was best to simply not discuss the subject. Thank you for forcing me to to raise it again.

Just FYI, Chuddy Bear Sheaths are not fakes, and the maker (Charles Dominick, whose day job is being a Law Enforcement Officer) puts his own unique stamp on his sheaths, like this:

He has never made a sheath and purported it to be made by anyone else (aka, a fake).

My point was to simply state that as long as a sheath was specifically made for a Randall Made knife, why should a photo of it not be appropriate for this area of the forum, especially if it is clearly not a fake?

Sort of off-topic, but given that Sullivan's Holster Shop is currently not accepting orders for custom sheaths for Randall Made knives, if one wants such a sheath, they need to look elsewhere.

This "is" the "lounge"...but it would certainly be a whole lot better for all who view these various topics for "everyone" to stop trying to "one-up" the other, defend their friends and post numerous "not-so-vague" cuts-n-jabs against one another. Lounge or not: Proper conduct and etiquette should be adhered to: No one wants this "formally" good and interesting thread moved again. Let's all call it a "draw" and move on.
Best, Capt. Chris

It is not directed anymore at you Tom...or my friend...the "other" Tom...or anybody else. It's just time to stop...period! Anymore responses are un-necessary as this one should have been. Back on subject or to the trash...The choice is up to "all of you"!
Goodnight, Capt. Chris

This has been shown before, but it is my favorite Randall Model #21. I brought a "Zack" hunting knife into Bo's office on one of many visits to the Randall shop back in the 80's. I had asked him previously if he had one of Zack's knives (Don Zaccagnino from Pahokee, Fl.) in the museum. I had noticed Zack's photo but no knife...Bo replied that "No, he did not...but he certainly wanted one along with at least one of every Florida maker". (Paraphrase...sue me!)
Anyhow: I gave it to Bo and he stopped me in my tracks and said "No sir". He then started screaming..."DAVID...DAVID!" (Dave Griffin, the shop foreman at the time). Dave came out of the shipping/prep room and Bo said: "Get the Captain a Model #21. We're doin' a trade".
That was that. Bo didn't always go for the "Give me a penny"idea. He had Dave Griffin drop everything he was doing and snap up a sheath, clean and sharpen this "Little Game" and "trade" it to me for that Zack knife...which, by the way, is "still" in the museum!
OK: End of story, except I had Bo sign the sheath for me. Hope you folks enjoy it...and....It's nice, unique stag!!
Best, Capt. Chris

I realized that I neglected to post photos of my pair of #12-9" #14 Grind knives, one with Brass furniture, and the other with Nickel Silver.
