Brent and Buck I have received knives, a model 16 and a Buxton fighter with nickel silver model 18 style hilts with the holes, so I believe that it would be possible on a model 15

I understand. Flat sides was a poor choice of words on my behalf unlike the Cattleman. What I am wanting is a tapered to the end with flattened sides and grooves like the 14 and not a standard round handle with 14 grooves. In looking at the Model 19 example (dated 03/09/2020) the side sanding lines appear to be flat ending in a round butt.

I have an excellent, fairly large piece of lignum vitae and it came to me....could/would the shop use a CW piece of wood, cut/turned to the dimension required by the shop, for slotted material to make a 14/15/16?? I've only had 2 cocktails.....
