Yes, Warren, I traded "in" and still have it. Just finally dug it out to take a look at it. as far as the color of the micarta, it has always been that color since I've had it. I do wonder if the grey spacers were always grey. They have been since I've had it.

could be alum spacers that have oxidized which would look grey. I bet Scott would know.

Pat,

I have a number of knives with grey spacers. They never started that way. Both blue and reds faded over time. I always thought of it as age patina. In any case, that's a great rig.

Thanks, for the props, guys.
Here's another one. This is the second Randall I ever bought. I bought it from The Good Captain at a local gun show back when he used to trek this far north. It was sometime around 94 or 95 I think. As for a little perspective regarding another thread about Randall values, it was one of the more expensive knives on his table at $315. I think I could make a modest profit were I to decide to sell it. (which I wouldn't)
