Black sheaths, or any other shop-available sheath option does not count against the 5 chargeable option limit on the Randall knife. Black is a $15.00 option. Best, Capt. Chris

Ordering a Randall Model #12-9", #14 grind is just that....Ordering a #14 grind. A Model #14 has a straight clip point, with the top bevel sharpened. That's it! No "BCP". If you want a stainless "BCP" Randall: Keep it to 8" or less! Best, Capt. Chris
If ya check the catalog "Q" on page 23 of the display of knives & 0-A of the non-catalog pictures ya can see the difference, I think the sheathes are different as well.
See Ya, Chief

Thanks for the replies everyone. Tom, I know how you feel about all the knives Steve has and the prices. But you are gonna pay for getting your order through in 6 months. I talked to him about a model 3-7, stainless, antique gold micarta, and brass crows beak butt cap. Price was 595 plus whatever Randall increase there is next year.
Chief, looking at it that way, makes me feel a little more trigger happy lookin at all them knives on ebay etc.
