Capt Chris, here's an idea since these aren't your typical builds in the sense of throwing it out there and every option is up for debate. What about offering 2 or 3 ways to outfit the knife that would stick with your kiss theme. I'd suggest options that would make the knife even better suited to it's intended purpose. For instance one option set for this knife could be brass double hilt, brass butt cap, and commando handle. Another could be similar but with forward curved hilt. I'd imagine you'd have a good idea as to what would make it a great double edged fighter. Then, we could all just vote for A, B, or C and these would cruise right along. Anyway, just an idea, especially since you mentioned a 4 day window for this one. Oh, and I'll always like to see stainless since I'm on the coast over here, but that's just me.

That's what we did on the Model #1...but it's fair to let everyone "vent" their ideas first. The "roll call" vote will come tomorrow. Thanks.
Best, Capt. Chris

As best as I can tell from everyone's post, this Model #2's options choices are all over the place. Let's try and get it done affordably and in keeping with a reasonable "close to catalog" look.

"ROLL CALL"
Vote for one of the following...Top 2 move on.
A) Standard #2-7" just as pictured in the catalog
B) Same as "A" with a brass butt cap (rounded or not)
C) Nickel silver double hilt to match the duralumin butt cap
D) Any of the above with forward curved double hilt
E) A-D with stainless
F) Add a wrist thong?

You can combine your choice from the assembled list but no more than "3" options...Thanks for making this project fun & interesting.
Best, Capt. Chris
