Well If I was using it I would wear off the protectant and thus leave it exposed.

looks like the handle and guards have been bead or sand blasted,great look and finish.

Thanks for the compliments guys, glad you like them!

As far as the details, this is a peak at a project that I have been working of for a little while with another gentleman who is very familiar with Randalls! These 2 both have carbon blades, both are etched with a special number, and both have some very cool sheaths with them...these are part of a limited run known as the VST knives! Oh yeah, and the best part, they have both been "blasted" and parkerized for a subdued finish!

My model 14 did a super job today on this black cherry. Went through it like butter. A superior survival blade to any Busse I own.

PS. my wife is a expert photographer! Looks like I am posing but I am mid chop!
