I managed to get a hold of my second model 8. Nice older classic lines of this knife. I'm guessing early fifties basing mainly on the spacer configuration, pinned stag and older style Heiser stamp. A little unusual double red bottom and top spacer. Faintly line between the combined red spacers. I'm pretty sure the hilt is NS though it is a lighter shade, so.........? I'll guess I will never see a Heiser stamped model 8-7.
