was lucky enough to score this nice Model 8 this weekend. I really like this style and age of this knife. Next to the model 5, one my favorite models.

Nice Max! The sheath is a replacement.... 60'-70's vintage. That T&B is early 50's. Pinned stag and deep choil. Sexy.....

Nice one Max,I like those old 8's, good find ! You can always give Gary Clinton a call, he may have a correct sheath for that, he doesn't always put all he has on his site, I have scored a couple vintage sheaths like that in the past with him.

received the Model 8 yesterday, and it is very nice. NS hilt, the spacers are very nice and tight. the stag isn't narly but very nice with the original finish. the blade is excellent. As Tune has stated the sheath is 60's or 70's, but very good. I am looking for the correct sheath, HH Hieser brown button sheath. If anyone has one they are willing to part with please email me.

thanks max

I agree with you all, it does have that blade shape. #8 Old Grind is a classic blade shape. Thank you Steve, this one is staying in the cubbyhole.
