This unusual Model #18 handled Clinton Special, also from the 'not something you see every day files', is posted courtesy of a friend that collects the odd ones - the knife is older than the sheath by at least five to seven years...

I've always liked the Tom Clinton knife and there are many beautiful ones here. There is also apparently one that isn't real. My questions are, how does a hollow handle end up on a Clinton? Does it take tearing apart two Randalls to make one? What does Tom Clinton have to say about it? With all due respect to Mr. Wickersham, why would an author of a book on Randalls put up a picture of a fake Randall? Couldn't that give someone the idea that it is real? Not trying to start anything it just looks funny.
