Yeah...True story,
Steve Peters screwed that up for everybody. He even ordered "Sasquatch" Bowies with Ward Gay handles. Apparently, that was enough to put Gary over the edge. Too bad. I've got a nice one (Model #20...not a #21) in green canvas...kinda matches your brown one.

Steve has been buying from me, and almost all of the other Randall dealers, as well as the shop for several years. He has a boatload of Randalls on eBay and sells a good share. Trouble is: When he hears of something new...or something he does not already have, he has a tendancy to go a bit overboard trying to optain that particular offereing.
Once he found out about a "Ward Gay" handle shape...Boom! The floodgates were opened. Too many requests in a short amount of time on too many oddball models led to the decision to no longer offer the Ward Gay handle shape.
