Is this a recent rule, Captain? Gary didn't have a problem making this Model 15 only a few years ago. Do I have a collector's item? What is the rule for CDT (cut down tangs) please?

Scott can postp and spell out the specifics. Positively none on Model #10;s. Every white piece I have ever sent in (slotted) has been rejected. Jerry: I know this is hard for you to believe but there is nothing wrong with ivorite, etc. What "is" wrong is the filth these handles hold and the stories they create, i.e. "real ivory", etc. The same holds true with stag. Certain things just don't fly at the Randall shop. Handle material that is too labor intensive, customer complaints aboout this-r-that alel play into the decisions. CDT's are a different story. The #15 Steve put up looks like lineal micarta?? Maybe?? Here's one the shop will no longer do... Best, Capt. Chris
If it is the "filth" and maybe not mixing the dust from the light and dark that makes a good reason. I knew there had to be a real reason and not some sort of out of the blue idea to just not do it.

The Model #10-3", straight point is handled in white lineal micarta, a handle material that the shop no longer accepts for Model #10's. My bone linen is totally cool and the shop loves it. Hope this helps, Capt. Chris
Capt C, I could not tell for sure in the picture if that was the bone linen or not. I would like to get. 10-3 in bone linen from you sometimes.. Thanks old guy. PS I just sent you a email.
