Sidney,
I have never received a Randall so marked but it is a great idea. It is "not" something the Randall shop marks as a general practice...at least not anymore. Good to see you posting. I left you a voicemail and had not heard from you. Give me all or email.
Hope this helps, Capt. Chris

Tommy,
That's a really great question. I have had commando-shaped stag handles in the past but they were dressed (or polished) stag handles. I tend to think it "is" doable...but I'll check.
Thanks, Capt. Chris

Tommy...and all others,
I just got off the phone with Scott. You remember Scott? The guy that used to frequent this forum? (I'm just bustin' him...He'll be back) Here's the word on commando-shaped "stag" handles..."NO".
According to Scott, although this option was available in the past (I knew I had some made before), it has been discontinued. The reason is the stag embargo, which has been going on for 17+ years. The shop cannot afford to use that large stag for a commando shaped handle. Losing a piece to something like this would prove counter-productive both in time and resources. I can only imagine the size needed to accomplish the finished product and I'm sure everyone will understand.
Great question and, hopefully, this will save a few folks some unwanted angst!
Hope this helps, Capt. Chris

N-25 would mean that the knife is either:

A) A Model #25 (Trapper) with nickel silver and aluminum hardware.
B) A Model #26-4" with a #25 handle.
C) A Model #27-5 3/4" with a #25 handle
D) A Model #12-9" with a Model #25 handle

B-25 would be the same as above with all "brass" hardware.
Hope this helps, Capt. Chris

Cap thanks for the reply. I think one or two of the first one's I had made were marked so but maybe not. I would have to dig them out and look as I don't have my stuff inv. very well. I know that the first two that I got from Rick S. in the 3 set remember Vietnam were so marked but Rick said Gary did that as a favor. The third knife is not marked as I think Gary realized that it was taking to much of their time. I believe you can send one back and have it so marked for 35:00 if I remember right.

Is the Model 16 only available in stainless, or can it be ordered in carbon steel as well? If so, is this a chargeable option? Thanks.
