I bought a triathlete a few months ago and catalog for it was $270. Don't know about the tailor.

Jim is right. The Triathlete is $270 w/ boot-clip sheath.

The Tailor is $110.00 w/blade cover.

Hi everyone. Been lurking for a bit, recently received my first Randall -- Mini-27 (the early red/stag version). I had a fireman's model on order (direct from Randall) before I ordered the Mini-27 and I've put two (other knives) orders in since, obeying the once-per-quarter rule.

To the point of this thread, I have several questions. I'll start with the three-parter that's been nagging me the most....

I'm aware of N25 and B25 handle option codes (specified earlier in this thread).

With the new copper mini-27, is there now a "C25" option code?

part 2 of this question: is the "C25" option an available option on any other knife?

part 3: is copper (guard or butt-cap) available as a specified option on any knife?

Copper is only available on the copper mini and the Copper Companion. No options/ no exceptions.
Code is: #27-3 1/2" CTB (Copper Trailblazer)
Hope this helps, Capt. Chris

Capt, or anyone with correct knowledge...
I have a #7-5" on order from RMK...I'm trying to figure out if I need to send them 1"x1"x4-1/2" or 1-1/8"x1-1/4"x4-3/4"....my idea, based upon the stat sheet I have, would call for the latter, however it is 3/16" stock, so I was wondering
Thanks
:-)Rocky

Rocky

Hope this helps.

My guess, is make it the size of a 5" knife, even though they are 1/4" stock. My guess that that size is still acceptable to RMK. BUT I have been wrong before!!!

Rocky,
Are you having any special handle shaping?
